Must have apps for your summer road trip

Over 90% of adults in American will hit the road this summer for a trip of some kind. Make the most of the experience by loading helpful and fun apps on your mobile device. After making these five downloads, hand your phone to your navigator, and enjoy the ride.
Google Maps. It is simple to use, and incredibly reliable for mapping, traffic, time to destination, and great satellite visual cues to help identify your location.
Waze. Another navigation app. This has terrific information and real-time alerts for traffic, road conditions, and accidents. A chat feature is handy to learn more from app users in your area to better anticipate the road ahead.
Gas Buddy. Another simple app that shares gas station location, as well as fuel prices. Help report pricing, and you could win fuel gift certificates. Coupons for convenience store food and beverages available at some locations, as well.
iExit. This is a cool app that shares all services at each upcoming exit off the highway. Businesses, such as fuel and food. Amenities like WiFi, truck parking, and playgrounds. Hotels, rest areas, Starbucks, and more are shared.
Sit or Squat. Where have you been all of my life? The final answer to the eternal question, “Where is a restroom?” The next step beyond locations, these app has reviews. Sit (I enjoyed this bathroom) or Squat (It could be better). There are even photos of many restrooms to preview, and the ability to bookmark it for a future return!
Don’t forget your mobile device charger! Pack a car USB adapter so you can keep your phone fully powered on the road so these resources are always at your fingertips.
